Jill Barnattan bio
Continually following her passions in life, Jill has found her tribe at Farmacopia. Here she continues her work as a community herbalist, working one-on-one with customers in their healing journey, while providing a guiding hand in bringing an even higher level of customer service and product offerings to Farmacopia.
Since moving to Northern California in 2009, she further developed this passion and attained certificates as a Certified Professional Planetary Herbalist from Lesley & Michael Tierra's East West School of Planetary Herbology. She leads "Unwind Your Mind" relaxing yoga sessions and herbal medicine making classes at the annual East West Seminar. Over the years, she has also attained several yoga intensive and yoga teacher training certificates.
Jill officially started her private herbal consultation practice on Maui in 2014 and has worked privately with clients for the past few years out of her custom studio in the mountains of Mendocino. She is thrilled to offer her services to the Farmacopia community!
Jill's intention is to empower her clients to believe in the innate power that each of us possesses to heal ourselves. She provides each individual with personalized herbal remedies & customized self-reliant tools to assist the body & mind to synergistically work together. Each customized program combines her knowledge of ancient healing traditions with the practice of yoga asana to give students and clients a better understanding of their own bodies. She only asks that each person is open, receptive and willing participative in the work to get to know themselves better and bring more balance in their lives. Most of all, having fun and participating with an open mind and light heart is key!
She finds joy in sharing self-care techniques and simple recipes that can assist customers to fully participate in their own healing journey. She encourages people to dig deeper and make a private appointment to pinpoint appropriate herbs and a more customized program.
She is truly a rare gem and we are so grateful to have her as part of our team.
