Jocelyn Boreta bio
Jocelyn joins Farmacopia with 2 years of study in herbalism at the California School of Herbal Studies as part of the Roots of Herbalism and Intermediate Community Herbalist programs. With 10 years experience working for a human rights organization in Fair Trade product development and sales, she is excited to be a part of a vibrant, people-centered market place that supports healthy communities.
She sees every day on the sales floor as an opportunity to connect with people and continue learning about herbal therapeutics. She teaches herbal medicine classes at Land Path's Bayer Farm and Graton Day Labor Center with a focus on traditional herbal knowledge and accessible medicine.
